Beginner-Friendly Cross-Country Performer
The 2025 Giant Talon 0 is a lightweight hardtail mountain bike built for riders ready to progress their trail skills. Its modern alloy frame, quality drivetrain, and balanced geometry make it ideal for singletrack, fire roads, and weekend adventures with friends.
Modern Trail Geometry for Control and Confidence
The ALUXX-grade aluminium frame has been refined with updated geometry for better balance and handling. Depending on frame size, the Talon 0 rolls on either 27.5-inch or 29-inch wheels and supports high-volume 2.4-inch tyres for improved grip, comfort, and control.
Reliable and User-Friendly Components
A Giant SXC32-2 coil suspension fork offers 80 mm of travel on 27.5-inch sizes and 100 mm on 29-inch models. Paired with a Shimano Deore 1x12-speed drivetrain, it provides wide-range gearing and smooth, clutch-equipped shifting. Shimano MT200 hydraulic disc brakes give reliable stopping power in all conditions.
Built to Grow with You
The Talon 0 is dropper-post compatible and features clean internal cable routing for a sleek appearance and easier maintenance. Thru-axle rear dropouts increase stiffness, giving riders more confidence as their skills develop.
