Endurance E-Road with Value & Performance

The 2026 Defy Advanced E+ Elite 2 brings electric assist to a mid-tier carbon endurance road platform. With a composite frame, integrated battery, and rear-hub motor, it delivers the Defy’s hallmark ride quality while offering extended range and climbing support for everyday riding.

Smooth, Intelligent Assist

At the heart of this model is the SyncDrive Move Plus hub motor, which provides 30 Nm of torque while minimizing drag when coasting. The EnergyPak 400 Wh battery is neatly housed in the down tube, and Smart Assist algorithms adapt assistance based on your pedalling input and terrain for a natural feel. The top-tube RideControl GO button lets you toggle power modes and check battery status easily.

Clean Integration & Comfort

With internal cable routing and wireless SRAM Rival AXS shifting, the cockpit stays uncluttered. A D-Fuse handlebar and seatpost help absorb road vibrations, delivering a smoother ride over rough surfaces. The frame also features generous tyre clearance and tubeless-ready design for flexibility in tuning grip and comfort.

Balanced Spec for Real-World Use

The Elite 2 is built with SRAM Rival AXS 2×12 electronic gearing and Rival AXS HRD hydraulic disc brakes. It rolls on Giant P-R2 alloy tubeless-ready wheels with Giant Gavia Fondo 0 tyres (700×32c). With the mix of components, geometry, and assist system, this is a bike built for long days, mixed surfaces, and ambitious riders who want capability without paying for the top tier.
