Regular price $899.00

Trail-Ready Versatility. Built for Rides Everywhere.

The 2025 Trek Marlin 5 Gen 3 is a versatile and dependable hardtail mountain bike that blends trail capability with practical commuting features. Whether you are exploring local fire roads, navigating city streets, or starting your off-road journey, this bike offers performance, comfort, and confidence in equal measure.

Thoughtful Geometry for Every Rider

The aluminum frame features modern trail geometry with improved reach, a slacker head angle, and a lower standover for more control and confidence. Smaller frame sizes come with 27.5-inch wheels for better fit and maneuverability, while medium and larger frames enjoy the speed and roll-over benefits of 29-inch wheels. The frame includes internal cable routing, rack and kickstand mounts, and Trek’s ThruSkew rear axle for durable and hassle-free use.

Reliable Suspension and Trail-Friendly Components

The SR Suntour XCT 30 coil fork offers 80 mm travel on smaller frames and 100 mm on larger ones, with a hydraulic lockout to maximize pedaling efficiency on smooth terrain. The Shimano CUES 1×9 drivetrain delivers dependable gear range with LINKGLIDE technology for smooth shifting, while Shimano MT200 hydraulic disc brakes offer strong, consistent stopping power in all conditions.

Trail or Commute—Ready Out of the Box

Equipped with integrated mounts for racks, fenders, and a kickstand, the Marlin 5 is as practical for daily use as it is for trail riding. The higher-volume tire clearance ensures traction and cushioning across dirt, rocks, and pavement, making it a true multi-terrain performer.
