2026 Precaliber 24

Regular price $549.99
Adventure-Ready Youth MTB Design

The 2026 Trek Precaliber 24 is built for kids who want to explore trails, paths, and backyards with confidence. With real mountain bike features—like front suspension, 8-speed gearing, and kid-tuned geometry—it bridges the gap between beginner and capability.

Light Frame, Kid-Friendly Geometry

The bike uses an Alpha Silver aluminium frame that keeps the weight down while offering durability. The low top tube height and drop-over design help young riders mount and dismount easily. The frame also includes mounts for a kickstand or rack for added versatility.

Suspension for Trail Comfort

Up front, a suspension fork with ~45 mm of travel helps absorb bumps, roots, and rough terrain, improving control and comfort on mixed surfaces. This makes trails and uneven paths more accessible for younger riders.

Easy Gearing & Control

With a Shimano 8-speed drivetrain operated via a twist-shift shifter, the Precaliber 24 gives kids a simple but effective gear range for climbing and cruising. The drivetrain includes components like a 32T crank and 13–34T freewheel. Linear-pull rim brakes give reliable stopping power in everyday and trail conditions.

Trail-Ready Wheels & Tyres

Equipped with 24″ alloy rims, strong steel hubs, and Bontrager XR1 2.25″ tyres, this bike balances rolling efficiency and grip. The tyres provide good traction on both dirt and paved surfaces. The wheels and tyres are tubed, robust for youth use.

Thoughtful Extras

Features like a saddle with an integrated carry handle (which can convert to a tail-light mount), frame mounts for accessories, and twist-shift simplicity make the Precaliber 24 a practical and versatile choice for family rides, school runs, and weekend trail adventures.
