Regular price $399.99

Big Adventures Start with Little Wheels

The 2026 Trek Precaliber 16 is designed for young riders taking their first steps into cycling — replacing training wheels with a bike they can grow with. With kid-tuned ergonomics and reliable features, it helps build balance, confidence, and fun on paths, neighbourhoods, and parks.

Lightweight Frame, Smarter Fit

Crafted from Alpha Silver aluminium, the Precaliber 16 keeps weight low so beginners can manoeuvre easily. The frame’s low top tube and compact reach make mounting and handling more intuitive for smaller kids. The saddle features an integrated carry handle that later converts to a taillight mount, offering flexibility as the rider grows.

Simple but Capable Gearing & Brakes

Equipped with a 1×7 drivetrain and twist-shift shifter, the Precaliber 16 gives kids just enough range to climb gentle hills and cruise comfortably. Linear-pull rim brakes provide dependable stopping power, and the junior-reach brake levers are sized for smaller hands, making control more intuitive.

Trail-Ready Wheels & Tyres

With 16″ alloy rims and Bontrager XR1 tyres (16×2.0″), the Precaliber 16 balances smooth rolling and grip across mixed surfaces — from park trails to footpaths. Strong hubs and double-wall rims make it durable enough for everyday use.

Ready from Box to Ride

The Precaliber 16 includes practical features like a kickstand and a fully assembled, ride-ready setup out of the box. It’s engineered to be simple to maintain and fun to ride for new cyclists.
