Trail-Inspired Performance. Everyday Versatility.

The 2025 Trek Marlin 6 Gen 3 is a robust and agile hardtail mountain bike designed to handle both your local singletrack explorations and your everyday urban ride. With refined geometry, capable components and eye-catching finishes (Miami Green → Dark Aquatic Fade and Rage Red → Deep Dark Blue Fade) it blends trail-capable performance with commuter-friendly practicality.

Geometry That Builds Confidence

The lightweight aluminium frame features updated reach and a slacker head angle that give added control when you’re descending or navigating tricky terrain. Smaller sizes are fitted with 27.5-inch wheels for easier manoeuvrability, while medium and larger sizes get 29-inch wheels for improved roll-over and speed. Internal cable routing keeps the look clean and the components protected, while rack, fender and kickstand mounts expand the bike’s capability beyond the trail.

Trail-Ready Suspension and Simple, Strong Components

The SR Suntour XCT-30 or equivalent suspension fork delivers 100 mm of travel (80 mm on smaller sizes) with a hydraulic lock-out for efficient pedalling on smoother roads. The 10-speed Shimano drivetrain offers a wide gear range and dependable shift performance for trail climbs and city commutes alike. Hydraulic disc brakes ensure consistent stopping power across all conditions and terrains.

From Trails to Town, Ready To Go

With factory-fitted mounts for racks, mudguards and kickstand, the Marlin 6 Gen 3 transitions seamlessly from rugged off-road fun to practical daily transport. High-volume tyre clearance gives added grip and comfort whether you’re tackling fire roads or cruising suburban streets.
